Utility and Support Spells

Not every incantation in Meowgic exists to burn rivals. Levitation, Meow Revive, and Stop define support roles that keep expeditions alive and arena teams functioning when Fireball alone cannot carry a match. These spells unlock mid-progression and demand clearer co-op communication than raw DPS — especially Meow Revive, whose name triggers more false positives from actual cats than any other phrase in Lazy Turtle Games' roster.

Levitation — Vertical Mobility

Levitation lifts your cat wizard upward on a gentle arc, extending jump reach across gaps between floating islands and reaching elevated scroll caches. Duration scales slightly with mana investment; tap the phrase for short hops or hold push-to-cast for maximum height. Cooldown is moderate, so plan routes before balloon extraction timers force risky shortcuts.

Levitation synergizes with Tornado when retrieving scattered loot mid-vortex. Arena players use Levitation to dodge ground-targeted Sky Strike telegraphs, though airborne targets become easier for skilled rivals to predict. Combine with keyboard Spacebar jumps documented in keyboard and mouse controls for marginal extra distance.

Meow Revive — Co-op Recovery

Meow Revive restores a downed teammate at close range after a three-second channel. Downed players crawl slowly and cannot cast until revived or the team wipes to last checkpoint. Only one Meow Revive channel can progress per downed player; duplicate attempts fizzle. This spell is central to revive teammates strategies and hard expedition tiers without checkpoint camping.

Assign a dedicated support player in three-stack groups — often whoever owns the clearest microphone for the word "Meow." Push-to-cast prevents accidental revives on the wrong target. After revival, a brief vulnerability shield applies; do not immediately re-engage Tornado clusters without cover. Achievement hunters need Meow Revive for several of the 25 launch achievements tied to no-wipe runs.

Stop — Interrupt and Control

Stop halts channeled spells, balloon inflation sequences, and enemy Sky Strike charges within a forward cone. It is the premier counter-play tool in arena and against elite island casters. Friendly Stop affects allies — grief potential exists, so call interrupts clearly in voice chat before casting. Cooldown is long relative to Fireball, making timing decisions high stakes.

Stop does not silence future voice casts permanently; it interrupts the current action only. Use it on golden harp ritual channels during golden harp quest defense waves when enemies attempt to steal progress. Pair with combat follow-up from combat spells while enemies stand stunned.

Support Role Loadouts

Expedition support loadout: Levitation for traversal, Meow Revive mandatory, Stop for caster elites. Arena support loadout: Stop priority, Meow Revive for clutch 3v3 clutches, Levitation for repositioning. Scroll modifiers that reduce Meow Revive cooldown are premium loot before extract loot safely runs.

Deluxe players may add Magic Carpet from supporter pack spells as mobility overlap with Levitation — coordinate so two players do not waste carpet and levitation on the same gap. Review co-op setup for role assignment templates and test phrases with the spell phrase planner.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the Meow Revive channel?

Approximately three seconds of uninterrupted channeling within melee range of a downed ally. Taking damage may slow but does not always cancel — check difficulty settings.

Can Levitation carry multiple players?

Base Levitation affects only the caster. Magic Carpet from the Deluxe pack carries multiple allies and replaces Levitation for group crossings when available.

Does Stop work on Fireball projectiles?

Stop interrupts casts and channels, not projectiles already in flight. Time Stop during Sky Strike charge windows, not after release.

Why does Meow Revive fail when I say it correctly?

You may be out of range, targeting a player not fully downed, or another revive channel is active. Background "meow" sounds from pets can also trigger false attempts — use push-to-cast.

Which utility spell unlocks first?

Levitation typically unlocks in early expeditions after Fireball. Meow Revive follows co-op tutorial completion. Stop arrives mid-progression when interrupt mechanics become necessary.
